Booking terms
Rabin Test Rides quotes each trip individually. The fare shown on the acceptance page is the agreed fare for that ride. A request is not a booking. The ride is confirmed only after you accept the fare, a payment method is saved, and availability is rechecked. The final charge is the accepted fare plus any pass-through charges permitted by this policy, less any amount Rabin Test Rides waives. Cancellation, no-show, and waiting rules are described below and are the ones in force for this ride; a later change to Rabin Test Rides's policies does not affect it.
Cancellation
Cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time and there is no charge. Cancel within 24 hours of pickup and a late-cancellation fee of 50% of the accepted fare applies. If the driver is already on the way to the pickup, the late-cancellation fee applies. If Rabin Test Rides cancels the ride, you are not charged. The fee that applies to your cancellation is shown to you before you confirm it.
No-show and waiting
The driver waits at the pickup location for 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. If no one arrives within that time and Rabin Test Rides cannot reach you, the ride is marked as a no-show and a fee of 100% of the accepted fare applies. Waiting time is included for the first 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. After that, waiting is billed at $1.00 per minute, counted in whole minutes. Time before the scheduled pickup time is never billed.
Permitted trip charges
In addition to the accepted fare, only tolls and parking may be added to the final charge, and only when actually incurred on your trip. Waiting time is charged under the waiting rules above. No tax line is added. Anything above the accepted fare and these disclosed items is never charged to your card.
